Save our Bayous, Fundraiser print

There are 12 threatened species, 11 endangered species and 20 at-risk species in the Louisiana bayou. I’m selling this as a print with 100% of the proceeds going to conservation in America’s bayous. If you’ve never been to one — I highly recommend it! They are both repealing and alluring. They glow, and stink and glisten. They are bizarre, unique and ultimately very necessary for animals, plants and humans alike. Despite conservation efforts, Louisiana still loses an acre of land every 33 minutes. That’s 25 miles a year. The city of New Orleans is especially at risk, as its surrounding bayous once protected it from tropical storms.

Common Tides Fundraiser Print

My friend Katie Dyal co-founded and runs the amazing non-profit Common Tides that takes kids from underserved communities in developing countries on sailing trips to teach them about marine science and ocean stewardship. These trips are completely free for the kids, but the costs for renting a boat, housing and travel expenses for crew and so on can get quite high.
I’m selling these prints through my Etsy store to fundraiser for them and will be donating 100% of the proceeds to Common Tides.
